For the social bookmarking assignment I entered the Overbooked site. It is my favorite site for reading ideas. The site provides starred reviews from Kirkus, LJ, PW and Booklist as well as genre reviews. This was fun to share.

I registered with EONS for my social networking with Marilee. We wrote back and forth to make sure we knew what we were doing and then in a day or so a lady from Massachusetts asked me to include her on my social network. She sent her picture and looked okay, but I was afraid to invite her (like maybe she was a decoy or something) so I just ignored her. Mary

I realize now that although I've gone through all the exercises, I haven't kept the tenthings up to date about them. Marilee, Debbie Mytnik and I are registered as instant messengers to each other. There hasn't been much instant messaging, most of it was done as we were learning the instant messaging technique. We work such different schedules that there just hasn't been the opportunity to work at the same time as the other. But I do understand it, it reminds me of "buddy list" on my computer at home. Mary

What a week!. I finished the entire assignment. I just downloaded The Accident to my account and sat a listened for a few minutes. I feel I have learned much good stuff and worked hard doing it. Thank you for the opportunity. Mary Corbett (grannycorbett)

Wiki fun!!!!

Wiki is much more fun than I thought it would be. Who doesn't like to spout off about books? I loved reading all the different takes on what everyone is reading. I breathe-I read -those two things have been a part of me for a long time. This site would certainly be fun for our patrons to share their favorite books and authors. Mary

Flickr problems

Marilee and I worked together on the Flickr assignment. We took each other's pictures, but when we tried to download Marilee's picture to her Flickr site, it kept moving to my site. I now have 7 pictures of the lovely Marilee. This is just fine with me, but for future Flickr moves, can anyone think of what may have happened. Granny
